Compliance is one of the pillars of ITM's social responsibility. ITM is committed to foster a compliance culture that contributes to sound and responsible business practices. This is done by establishing a Compliance function and instilling compliance aspects to each person. In addition, other initiatives has been conducted, such as informing and socializing about applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including monitoring and reporting and providing advice about relevant changes in the business environment.
With the increasing demands of stakeholders toward the compliance level and good corporate governance, ITM continues to improve the effectiveness of compliance management through a more responsive and comprehensive analysis of regulations as well as the development of a licensing and liability monitoring system related to the company's business.
Not only as a regulatory requirement, ITM's commitment to implementing corporate social responsibility is an effort to have a positive impact on all stakeholders. One way is to improve the quality of the community around the operational area through initiatives in the socio-economic sector.
Initiatives are carried out by taking into account the socio-economic gaps and needs of the community. This initiative is based on social mapping which is carried out before the company operates to ensure the optimization of positive impacts on society.
