Energi Batubara Perkasa (EBP) and Banpu Mineral Singapore (BMS) signed a cooperation agreement with Gania Prima Energi (GPE) for coal trading in mid-November at Pondok Indah Office Tower, Jakarta. The agreement stipulates that GPE is obligated to provide coal of no less than one million tons with specifications outlined in the contract for sale to EBP and BMS, while on the other hand, EBP and BMS are obligated to purchase the coal subject to the agreed-upon terms and conditions.
GPE (Gania Prima Energi) is a coal trading company that holds 100% selling rights for Bara Selaras Resources (BSR) mine and 30% for Banjarsari Pribumi (BP) mine, both located in South Sumatra.
The signing event was attended by Mr. Jusnan Ruslan as the Director of EBP and Khun Kasidis Niamsiri as the CEO of EBP. BMS was represented by Khun Somsak and Khun Sutichai, while GPE was represented by Ms. Merlyna Nainggolan as the Director.
This signing holds significant importance as EBP has successfully secured a coal supply allocation of one million tons to enhance ITM's sales volume and market share in the global market.
