PT Indo Tambangraya Tbk (ITM) has again achieved the Top CSR Award 2025 by winning three awards simultaneously.

The first award is the Platinum trophy after five consecutive years of winning the golden trophy. ITM also won the Top CSR 5 Star award. Not only that, ITM's President Director, Mr. Mulianto, was reconized as the Top Leader of CSR Commitment 2025.

The award ceremony took place on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Raffles Hotel Jakarta.

TOP CSR Awards has been organizing by TopBusiness Magazine since 2016 in collaboration with several institutions, experts, and CSR consultants. ITM President Director, Mr. Mulianto, along with ITM Directors, Mr. Ignatius Wurwanto and Mr. Yulius Kurniawan Gozali, were present to receive this award.

Mr. Mulianto noted that the Platinum trophy demonstrates ITM's dedication to enhancing CSR initiatives despite various challenges in the industry.

“This award is also in line with our strategy on responsible transition amidst the challenges of the energy trilemma in the world,” said Mr. Mulianto.

The three trilemmas faced by industry players in the global energy sector today are ensuring energy availability or security, affordability, and sustainabl. Mr. Mul also ensured that CSR activities remain essential and part of the Company's business strategy.

Number of Participants Increases

Chief Organizer and Editor-in-Chief of TopBusiness, M. Lutfi Handayani, said that TOP CSR Awards 2025 was attended by nearly 1,000 companies in Indonesia (long list of participants). A total of 238 companies registered, and 218 companies participated in the complete assessment. This is a 20.2% increase compared to the 198 participants in 2024.

With the theme 'CSR for Sustainable Business Growth and Asta Cita Government Programs,' Lutfi hopes that companies operating in Indonesia can implement CSR programs to support sustainable business growth and government initiatives.

“The organization of TOP CSR Awards 2025 also aims to encourage the implementation of CSR by ISO 26000 SR (Social Responsibility) as a global guide for companies in running CSR programs,” Lutfi stated.

Since ISO 26000 SR was established in November 2010 as a global guideline for implementing social responsibility, CSR is not limited to the responsibility of the CSR or community development division. However, it involves all divisions within the company, with the president director as the main responsible party.

Meanwhile, Mas Achmad Daniri, Chairman of the Jury for the TOP CSR Awards 2025, stated that in the modern era, CSR is not limited to donations, philanthropy, or social assistance.

“Now, CSR is part of a corporation's business strategy, where CSR is useful for enhancing reputation as a responsible company, increasing stakeholder involvement in the company's business chain, and reducing business risks,” said Daniri.

Investors and financing institutions now require effective corporate social responsibility (CSR) implementation, which is achieved by adopting the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) approach. Daniri added that to make the company's CSR program more effective and mutually beneficial, the company can design and implement it through the Creating Shared Value (CSV) approach.
