Proof of Sustainable Mining
The Green PROPER achievement by IMM and JBG proves that responsible mining practices can align with business sustainability. This accomplishment also strengthens the company's reputation in applying environmentally friendly principles.
Mr. Era Tjahya Saputra remarked that this award is dedicated to all employees and management who have consistently worked together to develop and implement work practices based on Good Mining Practices (GMP), especially in environmental management.
This aligns with the Environmental Management Roadmap, which continuously progresses to achieve quality environmental management in mining and supporting activities based on sustainability principles.
"This achievement is a positive first step in managing mining operations in the future, and we will continue to improve to create harmony in the three pillars of sustainability (economic, social, and environmental) for the company, stakeholders, and the surrounding community," said Mr. Era.
More than just an award, this achievement is expected to encourage other industries to integrate environmental aspects into their business strategies. This way, a balance between economic growth and environmental preservation can be maintained in the future.
